have been a son of Gabriel Rawls,
he was in the same area as Silas Rawls, sr. and
may have been related to my family

of the bravery and zeal of John Ingles, esq., a captain in the
said line, granted unto John Ingles a tract of land containing
3840 acres in Davidson county on the waters
of Bledsoes creek adjoining Robert
Deshies south west corner, to Oratio
Rolls' corner to Robert Montgomery's
line and to David Wilson's corner and to Roger Topps' heirs, including
a preemption of 640 acres obtained by Richard
Hogan so that the bounds now
contain 4480 acres. surveyed for John Ingles May 20, 1785 by James
Sanders, D.S. by virtue of a military warrant no. 294. located
Apr 4, 1785. Sept 15, 1787.
