Willis Ralls {Rawls} is perhaps the most controversial man being researched today and with Benjamin Rawls, sr. of Mississippi, presents the biggest problem for all of the researchers involved.
as we dig deeper into this mans travels, we find circumstantial evidence linking him to at least Three different families. These families are that of the Rev. Gabriel Rawls, {my line}, Shadrach Rawls, {son of James}, William Rawls, of Halifax county, North Carolina.
while each of these are possible, they are of course not the only possibility.
