Note the bumpy texture of the nose pad. These bumps are called nodules. These nodules will shrink and flatten when a mount has dried. To counter this, I rebuild each nodule individually to ensure a lifelike representation of this specimen. Furthermore, the inner nasal detail has been sculpted with depth and not just filled in. There are no gaps in the lip line and everything lines up correctly. All of our mounts are finished in this manner.
